On this occasion, we presents a serie of pen-and-ink drawings by Tomás Hernández (Donostia/San Sebastián 1940 - 2021). In this collection, the landscapes of the city of Donostia, captured in ink, are depicted across different periods of his life.

This exhibition is, above all, a journey through time and a tribute to the patient gaze. What the viewer will find is not simply a collection of urban drawings, but a graphic diary traced throughout the various stages of the authorá life.

He was a complete artist: he combined his work as draughtsman and graphic designer at Gráficas Valverde with his vocation as a painter and his passion for popular culture. Pehaps his most well know facet was that of a poster designer. trhoughout his life, he designed around five hunred posters, making him one of the mos prolific Basque poster artists of the twentieth century.
