etxetik_ beñat olaberria

We present the serie etxetik -in Basque mins -from my home- by Beñat Olaberria, the artist born in 1970 in San Sebastian. This is the first time that his work will be exhibited in his hometown.

More than a decade ago, the artist from San Sebastian made a radical change in his life, betting on his passions and moved to the United Kingdom. There he completed a Master of Fine Arts at the City and Guilds of London Art School.

The London based Basque artist has a long history of group exhibitions. His work can be found in private collections in Europe, Canada and the United States. He has also had solo exhibitions in Barcelona, Switzerland and London.

etxetik gives the title to a group of recent works and has a selection of paintings in different sizes, painted on canvas with mixed technique, using acrylics and graphite. This series also includes works on paper, that we have classified fifteen collages in two formats.
