Malen Agirre

Malén Agirre (1988, Basque Country) grew up surrounded by creativity, influenced by her family; her parents are teachers and artists. This atmosphere fostered her love for painting, which became her most genuine form of communication
She graduated with a degree in Fine Arts and completed postgraduate studies in Digital Printing.
Her work is defined as an emotional landscape in constant motion: colors that clash and embrace, strokes that evoke both tenderness and overwhelming strength.
Her paintings depict different perspectives of ephemeral presences: barely sketched human figures, expressive faces, bodies that disappear or reappear. There is a strong sensitivity to nature and an introspective approach to the representation of the human figure, all mediated by a serene and elegant aesthetic.
Throughout her career, she has exhibited in Bilbao, San Sebastián, and Barcelona, as well as international exhibitions in Australia and Buenos Aires.
