Jesús Mansé he is a plastic artist and poet born in San Sebastian (1966). He studied Fine Arts at the University of the Basque Country (1984-86), starting early in painting. From a very young age, his work has obtained recognitions, both in this discipline, as well as in poetry and narrative. Likewise, he has composed lyrics for Pop and Rock musicians, being his main contribution in this matter next to Mikel Erentxun - component of Duncan Dhu - with whom he has co-written more than one hundred songs, spread over eleven albums.
His pictorial work - which he signs with his real name as well as the heteronym Jesús Mansé Mansé- it is part of the collections of various museums and institutions, such as Basque Government (Vitoria), Provincial Council of Guipuzcoa, Museum of San Telmo, Collection Kutxa (San Sebastian), Bilbao Bizkaia Kutxa, Museum of Fine Arts of Álava and Collection Hispanic Central Bank. His painting has earned several first prizes and he has held seventy individual exhibitions and as many collective ones, in galleries, fairs and museums in Europe and America.
Since 2018 he has been part of the artistic duo Black Twins, together with the also multidisciplinary artist Diego Vasallo.
